To take your PD-ready photo you'll need a few items. Grab your camera and a card with a magnetic stripe. This could include a library card, gift card or credit card!
NEXTTake a photo of your face with the card under your nose. The card's magnetic stripe should be visible to get the best measurement. Once you take the photo, drag and drop it on top of the sample image (or use Choose File button).
NEXTFirst mark your left and right eyes. Then mark the left and right sides of the magnetic stripe - this gives us a standard unit of measurement to get your PD. That's it! You'll see your approximate PD at the top right.

Download PD RulerGrab a regular card with a magnetic stripe on the back. Student IDs, credit cards and gift cards work well as measurement tools.
Place the card under your nose and try to keep its distance from the camera the same as your eyes. Snap the picture and drop it on the marked area.
Mark your left and right eyes by dragging the individual eye markers + centered over each eye. Then mark the left and right sides of the magnetic stripe by dragging the "L" and "R" vertical lines. Your PD will be shown at the top right!
We also offer a printable PD ruler for your use. Just follow the instructions and you're good to go!
